Ecoverde Maids

Maria did a fantastic job with our home, especially in our master bathroom which had lots of stubborn stains. Will be booking another cleaning in the future!

We have booked Ecoverde Maids frequently over the last few years and they always do an excellent job. Our most recent cleaner, Jaqueline, was quick, efficient, and thorough - and a delight! We look forward to booking our next service.

Maria cleaned our home today and left it looking and feeling great! We are so grateful!

I've been using the service for about two years and they've always done a great job. Today, Andrea cleaned my apartment and she was new to me. She did a wonderful job, just like all the other workers have done.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. Andrea came back today for the second time and did an amazing job. Everything is sparkling clean and looks much better than when I do it. She worked very efficiently yet thoroughly and had no problem working around me and my cat. I am so grateful to have found this company and hope I can have Andrea come back again.

Docking a star because a few days before Ecoverde were scheduled to clean, they advised us that they unfortunately double booked us, and were not able to come in on that scheduled day at all. They did try to reschedule for another day, but due an upcoming celebratory event, we needed it done on that scheduled day.

This was a bit of an inconvenience, so we had to find another cleaning service.

Cancelled on me twice in one week. First time they texted me a couple of hours in advance, saying the cleaner had an emergency. OK, fair enough, they quickly rescheduled me for the weekend through a text message, but apparently forgot to send me a confirmation email (and maybe forgot to actually schedule me?)

Then they never showed up on the weekend, this time without any warning whatsoever. After I contacted them to find out if they were going to show up, they asked to reschedule again. No way.

I just had my townhouse cleaned by Maria and it was lovely. My house feels so clean and fresh. It was my first time having a house cleaning, so I wasn't sure what to expect but she took care of everything and it was a great experience. I look forward to booking with Ecoverde Maids every couple of months to treat myself to a clean house! I love how clean my kitchen is

Really mixed results with this service. On their first visit they broke a luckily relatively new mirror, and the insurance claim for that took forever. We paid for eco products and they were not consistently used. We had multiple conversations with each cleaner (changes each visit) about not using scented products and that if they needed something other than what they had to let us know- and we almost always ended up with a house smelling like fake flowers. We told them not to touch our bed, and yet they kept a doing so. My spouse (who the booking was under) had multiple conversations with the office staff about this and then when she finally cancelled the future cleanings got called and told 'we had no idea there were problems'.

In the end, we expected a higher level of service for the amount of money spent, and they were not able to deliver. To be clear, we offered to provide all cleaning products to meet our specific low scent requirements, communicated regularly about what was needed and not needed, and were very patient as we've both cleaned houses before and understand it can take time. I think for people who want a basic clean they're fine. For us, not a fit.

I went with Ecoverde due to the positive reviews on Yelp, and maybe those reviews are warranted for the most basic of cleanings. I paid over $500 for a post-construction cleaning of my new, EMPTY, 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1800 sq. ft. house, however, and really do not feel like I got $500+ worth of services (~$300 more than the ~$200 quote that I received for a basic cleaning of my house had it been furnished).

Part of the increased price was interior cleaning of the fridge and oven, which happened, but the bulk of the extra cost was for a post-construction clean after contractors generated a lot of dust while working in the house for weeks. I needed that dust gone before I moved in the next day. When I did a walk through of the house while the maids were still here, it looked okay. As I moved in next day, squatting down and climbing up on stools to put things away, it became obvious that they did not remove the dust from places that were not immediately in eyesight (e.g., the top of the fridge, the space immediately under a cabinet). The move in took so much longer than it needed to because we had to clean the areas we were filling with our stuff as we went.

Maybe getting to those spaces would have required a degree of extra effort, but isn't that why I paid more than $500 for this service? For the extra effort? Honestly, the house was completely empty when the team arrived -- no carpets to vacuum, no furniture to dust or wipe down. Boxes had not even been moved in yet, so the house was completely clear of all obstructions. The space could not have been in an easier condition to clean. I feel like I could have paid the $200 for a basic clean and received the same degree of "clean" that Ecoverde left me with after I paid $500 for an enhanced, post-construction clean.

Ecoverde called me to see if I was satisfied with the clean and I relayed all of this to them. Like most cleaning companies, they offered to send a team back to address the oversights (cleaning companies never offer refunds, only re-cleans). But, by then, we'd already cleaned the overlooked spaces ourselves because we had to move in. I had thought I might continue with Ecoverde for basic biweekly cleans because the ladies who came were really nice and seemed like people we could trust to have in our home on days one of us could not be here. But, being overcharged this way really does not sit well with me, so I'm going with another company. I wish the ladies who cleaned my place the best, though.
